On
September 29, 2007 Officer Daniel Talbot, was fatally wounded
in
the line of duty.Officer
Talbot was a five year veteran of the Revere Police Department
who began as a patrol office and ended up working in the Gang
Unit.He was admired
in the Revere Community as a upstanding police officer who
helped the residents that were in trouble and did what was
necessary for the situation he was called to address.His death was a devastating loss for the Revere community
as well as his friends and family.

Since his death, we believe that Danny's name and dedication to helping people should
continue. Our way of doing this is to hold the Annual Daniel Talbot Benefit.
The donations received will be shared with Everett/Revere Youth Hockey as well as
used for the the creation of the Daniel Talbot Memorial scholarship fund.

Daniel Talbot Foundation is a non-profit organization created by
the Talbot Family to keep his memory alive. By
establishing this web site we will be supporting
organizations that were close to Danny’s heart and
to create the Daniel Talbot Scholarship Fund. This
is the only web site endorsed by the Talbot Family for
charitable donations in his memory.
